About Les Arcs Resort.

The French ski resort Les Arcs is the gateway to the luxurious Paradiski skiing area. Excellent slopes await on the slopes for skiers of all skill levels.

Perfectly equipped trails, modernist architecture, the possibility of night skiing, reasonable prices make Les Arcs popular with many tourists. He is ideal for family holidays, and for young people.

The resort is part of the integrated skiing area Paradiski and is located in the center of Tarentaise Valley. This is more than 400 kilometers of groomed trails with excellent infrastructure. Season starts in December and ends in late April.

Trails

The skiing takes place on guaranteed snow cover, as the main part of the tracks are located at an altitude of over 2,000 m. The altitude difference at the resort is 1,200 to 3,250 meters, with a total length of 232 kilometers. Of these:

• 12 км – green;
• 125 км – of blue;
• 64 км – red;
• 31 км – black.

The most attractive skiing area is located in the vicinity of Les Arcs 1,800, but more convenient access to the most interesting pistes is in the area of Les Arcs 2,000.

The slopes of the ski resort are suitable for skiers of all skiing levels.

For professionals

The 7-kilometer descent from the peak of the Aiguille Rouge is designed for professionals. The height difference on the slope is 2,126 m. The long and unique Combossiere route is suitable only for extreme skiers with a lot of experience.

On the back side of the slope for the extreme skiers are prepared attractive routes with the length of 3,000 m. From all the peaks it is possible to do off-piste skiing in virgin areas.
For the intermediate level

For amateurs, the resort area is especially good because the difficult sections can be bypassed. Sufficiently interesting route is located in Peisey. In addition, a few uncomplicated slopes are prepared in Les Arcs 1 800 and Les Arcs 2 000.
Beginners

The best slopes for beginners are located in Les Arcs 1,800. The areas of Les Arcs 1 600 are quite steep, and Les Arcs 2 000 sometimes sees a lot of skiers.

Elevators

All pistes are connected by 84 elevators, of which:

• Wagons and cabins – 17 pcs;
• Chairlifts – 53 pcs;
• Trolley – 14 pieces.

Due to well-developed network of funiculars there is never a queue.

Ski-passes

After arriving at the resort area you have to buy a skipass. The cost of the ski pass depends on the number of days of skiing, as well as on the age of the tourist. Discounts are available for children.
