About Pinzolo

The picturesque town of Pinzolo is nestled in the heart of Adamello Brenta, the natural park between Adamello, Presanella and Brenta. The resort has excellent pistes and a lot of accompanying attractions for its guests.

Pinzolo, situated at 770 meters in the valley of Val Rendena, is the ideal place for family holidays and solo travellers, surrounded by beautiful nature.

Trails

In order to create comfortable conditions for skiing, cannons have been installed along the slopes to ensure an even and stable cover. All Pinzolo trails are connected by a network of elevators to other resorts:

• Madonna di Campiglio;
• Folgarida;
• Marilleva.

In the vicinity of the resort village prepared routes are divided by level of complexity. In total, there are 16 slopes with a total length of about 26 kilometers. Out of them:

• 5 tracks with the length of 3 km for beginners;
• 8 tracks with the length of 20 km for amateur skiers;
• 3 tracks with length of 3 km for professionals.

The highest point of the resort area is located at an altitude of 2,100 meters, the altitude difference is 1,330 meters. The track areas are located on the slope of Doss de Sabion.

In the combined Madonna di Campiglio skiing area, 150 kilometers of slopes are prepared for skiers. Of these:

• 72 kilometers of pistes for beginners;
• 57 kilometers of trails for amateurs;
• 21 kilometers of trails for extreme skiers.

One of the most popular trails is Spinale Direttissima. This track is designed for amateur skiers. Its slope is 70°.

The heaviest and most difficult route is Competition, it meets all the standards of skiing. The altitude difference on the black route is 300 meters.

There are also tracks for cross-country skiers:

• 5 kilometers of cross-country trails in the Carisolo area;
• 22 kilometers in the area of Campo Carlo Magno.

Freeride and snowboarding

Part of the slopes are designed for freeride enthusiasts. From the top of Doss del Sabion you can go down one of the slopes on skis or snowboards. The beautiful virgin terrain, steep landscape and open terrain with almost no trees are specially created for off-piste skiing.

Snowparks

There are several snow parks with all the technical equipment in the resort. One of them Ursus Snow is located on the top of Groste. There is a playground for children at 5 Laghi Madonna.

Elevators

All pistes are connected by a network of elevators. The total number in Pinzolo is 14, of which 7 are chairlifts. At the top of the peak leads funicular Pinzolo Campiglio Express with a capacity of 1,800 people per hour. Travel time is about 16 minutes.

In the combined Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti ski area there are 57 elevators. The Pinzolo-Campiglio Express cable car has connected the routes of the nearby towns.

Ski passes

You can get from the resort town to the combined Madonna di Campiglio ski area by bus. Children under the age of 8 can ride for free.

Meals

Pinzolo is a true gastronomic paradise for lovers of fine food and gourmets. Local restaurants, cafes, bars offer drinks and dishes of Italian cuisine made from organic farm products.

The close proximity to Austria has left its mark. Apart from the traditional Italian dishes the guests are offered to try the real dumplings, roast beefs, dumplings and soups. From alcoholic beverages beer, wine and mulled wine are preferred.

Pinzolo is a quiet resort, discos are quite rare. Lovers of noisy parties are better to go to Madonna di Campiglio.
