About Val di Fassa
Val di Fassa for over 70 years attracts tourists from all over the world with perfectly prepared slopes, excellent infrastructure and reasonable prices. The picturesque Italian valley is located in the heart of the mountain range of the Alps and joins together more than ten well-known resorts.
The altitude difference is 1 320 – 2 950 m. The ski season begins in late November and lasts until mid-April.
Slopes
The valley stretches for more than 20 kilometers. There are endless opportunities for skiing in the region. There are about 150 perfectly prepared slopes with a length of 200 kilometers.

The third zone combined Pozza and Vigo di Fassa (1,320 and 1,390 m). The main ski regions are located on the same line of the cable car, but it is possible to go down from this area on the trail.
For those who want to diversify the skiing routes, you can go to the areas that are located above Passo Castalunga or Passo San Pellegrino. Many interesting trails are connected to each other by a network of funiculars. In these regions are mostly gentle routes, designed for beginners and amateurs.
In the valley laid out 66 kilometers of excellent tracks for cross-country skiing. Fans of night skiing will love Aloch ski stadium with a length of 1,200 m. There are also held competitions in giant slalom.
For fans of snowboarding there are excellent snow-park in Belvedere and Ciampac regions with half-pipes. Off-piste skiing is possible with professional guides.
In all the resort towns are open ski schools. Experienced instructors will not only teach you to be confident on the skis, but also to learn new sports:

Elevators .
All trails in the region are connected by 82 elevators. Of these:
- 35 rope tow lifts;
- 40 chairlifts;
- 7 chairlifts.

Family vacations
Val di Fassa is a great place for a family vacation. In the villages are open separate routes with special funiculars for children from four years. In March every year the gastrofestival “Dinner with King Laurino” takes place. For a whole week tourists are served the most exquisite alpine dishes in all restaurants.
