About Lake Maggiore

Lago Maggiore is one of the favorite vacation spots of the Italian aristocracy and artistic elite. Thanks to the mountain massif, the coastal area enjoys a pleasant and even climate all year round.

Maggiore and its surroundings are recognized as one of the most environmentally friendly places in Italy. The lake was formed during the glacial period in a basin, its maximum depth is 372 meters and area is just over 212 square kilometers.
