Val di Campitello – the first center of ski tourism
At the foot of Mount Col Rodella, in the upper part of the valley of Val di Fassa is the village of Campitello. Here, at 1,450 m above sea level, the first center of alpine tourism in the Dolomite Alps was built.

Weather in Val di Fassa
From December to March Val di Fassa turns into a snowy town. From December to February the temperature usually drops to -4, and in March the temperature becomes comfortable for skiing. At the foot of the mountains, the temperature can even reach up to +15 degrees.
